The foundation stone of a new 4-storey academic building of Dimla Technical and BMI in Nilphamari has been laid.
The foundation stone of the building was laid in a short ceremony on the institution’s premises on Thursday, March 12 morning. At this time, Engineer Shahrin Islam Chowdhury Tuhin, former BNP MP from Domar-Dimla (Nilphamari-1) constituency, provided overall support for the ceremony.
The event was attended by Dimla Technical and Business Management Institute Principal Md. Abdul Quader, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Nilphamari District Committee Member Principal Monowar Hossain, and District BNP Member Golam Rabbani Pradhan, former Dimla Upazila BNP Senior Vice President Ariful Islam Liton, local dignitaries, teachers, students and guardians.
The speakers at the event said that the educational activities of the institution will be further expanded if the new four-storey building is constructed. This will make it possible to ensure a modern and quality learning environment for the students. They referred to this initiative as an important step in the development of education in the area.
The speakers expressed their hope for the speedy completion of the construction of the building and sought everyone’s cooperation for the overall development of the institution.
