The Governance Innovation Unit (GIU) of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs jointly organized the “AI and Innovation Dialogue” today at the GIU Auditorium, Segunbagicha, Dhaka. The third dialogue in a series emerging from the Third Thematic of the Trade, Growth and Economic Diplomacy Conference held in June 2026, reaffirmed the National Priority of placing Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the heart of Bangladesh’s Tech Diplomacy and Public Service Delivery.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr Humaiun Kobir was presented there as a special guest.He highlighted the need for knowledge workers as the “third strand” of Bangladesh’s economic DNA and greater inter-ministerial collaboration.
Twenty-five international organizations and eighty-five diplomatic missions joined online, alongside senior officials, development partners, technology industry representatives, startups, academia and think tanks.
